Bonjour Tristesse is an anarchist solo project from Germany by Nathanael (Heretoir, ex-King Apathy, ex-Agrypnie) that displays a very rich branch of depressive/atmospheric black metal with a lot of post elements and influences, dualling frail and abrasive moments created by piano dreamlike interludes, hypnotic melodies, and empowering yet bitter tremolo picking over a versatile bass and drum work.

"The first version of the debut album "Par un sourire" was released in 2010.

In 2015 the original album was re-released. Some parts of the songs were re-arranged, and additional guitars were recorded to give the album a deeper atmosphere. The whole album was re-mixed and re-mastered while keeping the rough atmosphere of the original sound."
