Vega is a symphonic black metal project hailing from Rome, Italy, and was created in 2016 by the only official member and songwriter Vega Shaker.

Her first album, ‘Reliquia’. delivers a perfect balance between good and evil, positive and negative. Warmer and cozier sounds from the piano, keyboards, and different orchestrations, in contrast with fast drumming and angry riffs. Driven by primitive vocals that spill out all the grief and the frustration of a human being, channeling them into a very positive message of hope for people longing for a better tomorrow.

Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this. Luke

Have only listened to the first three tracks so far. Somehow the indie/grunge/funereal/doom elements meld together well. Well worth a listen! 😁 Update - couldn't stop listening. No weak tracks.
